Referring to a poster at Naidu’s dharna at Andhra Bhawan, mocking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP alleged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of playing dirty politics. It seems that the poster did not go down well with the BJP.
“Jiske haath mein chai ka jhoota cup dena tha, uske haath mein janta ne desh de diya [One who was meant to do dishes, was given the responsibility of running the nation],” read the poster at Naidu’s dharna in Delhi. Two tea cups were also placed next to the poster.
These HYPOCRITE leaders like N Chandrababu Naidu @ncbn say they are fighting for "upliftment of Dalits & poor" Their REAL mentality is on display here in this ELITIST Placard at Andhra Pradesh Bhawan MOCKING PM @narendramodi humble Chaiwala beginings #ChandrababuNaidu pic.twitter.com/u2aCNDXsAb

It is a shame on the part of the Andhra CM. It clearly shows the mentality of Telugu Desam Party and its allies. Such statement and attack on the Prime Minister is a typical example of the feudal mentality that condescended to Naidu from the grand old party. It’s horrible to think that an elected CM could stoop so low for some political gain.
But this is not the first time that the people of the nation had a glimpse of the “other side” of the cool and composed politician. Earlier Naidu took a jibe at PM Modi’s wife too. The Andhra Pradesh CM said, “I don’t usually make personal attacks, but PM Modi is now forcing me to do so with his comments. He speaks about bringing about a triple talaq law to help Muslim women abandoned by their husbands, but he has no answer if anybody asks him about his own wife, Yashoda Ben.” Andhra Pradesh CM has only insulted the victims of Triple Talaq by drawing an absurd and senseless analogy. Naidu clearly looked bad by dragging Prime Minister Modi’s wife in his political battle with PM Modi.
Earlier, yesterday, speaking at a rally at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi took a jibe at Chandrababu Naidu government of the state for not utilizing the funds allocated by the Centre, adding, Chandrababu Naidu is scared of facing the truth. “N Lokesh’s (N Chandrababu’s son) father has gone astray from his ideological path because he does not wish to face the truth. First truth, fear of loss in elections. Second, to establish his son in politics. Three, create own wealth. Fourth, the one who is talking to you, is your gatekeeper,” added PM.
The above-mentioned instances have shrewdly exposed the carefully concealed dark side of Chandrababu Naidu. It seems that there is a lot more to the veteran politician than the charismatic aura that he always carries. It is clear that Chandrababu Naidu is no different from his allies in the grand coalition, he was only cautious enough to hide this trait of his personality which now stands exposed.
